Food assistance.
$13,900.98 in groceries for families in 2025, part of 40,000 pounds of food distributed across Jacksonville and Latin America, building on 7,000 pounds delivered across our first three mission trips.
Education.
192 virtual English classes connected students with teachers and new opportunities. Monthly human trafficking awareness classes help keep children and families informed and safe. Educational resources reached more than 350 learners, opening doors that stay open. In 2025, RTU also created a safe working space where children can do their work and attend classes outside of the elements.
Scholarships and sports opportunities.
Young athletes got another month on the soccer field through sponsored scholarships and transportation. Dare to Dream 2026 set out to impact the lives of 800 children across Latin America, pairing celebration with real opportunity.
Clothing distribution after the natural disaster.
When catastrophe hit, RTU shipped clothing to the families affected, $1,189.60 in freight to get donations where they were needed most.
Christmas without barriers.
More than 500 Christmas gifts reached children through Navidad Sin Barreras, alongside toys and dental hygiene kits for 135 families, around 300 people. In Medellín, children received gifts through our partnership with Fundación Solo Vida, and in Santo Domingo local law enforcement helped deliver toys to children in the area.
Youth programs.
From shared meals to creative activities, RTU’s youth programs give children safe places to learn, play, and grow, in Jacksonville and across Latin America.
