Al crecer en un barrio pobre y aislado, comprendi\u00f3 de primera mano las dificultades que enfrentan los pueblos peque\u00f1os y la falta de apoyo. Sus propias experiencias le ayudaron a conectar con las comunidades que encontr\u00f3 durante sus viajes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con tan solo cinco a\u00f1os, Max caminaba por patios de grava con sandalias delgadas, sin saber cu\u00e1ndo volver\u00eda a comer o a reunirse con sus padres. Estos recuerdos hacen que la misi\u00f3n sea profundamente personal. Obligado a crecer demasiado pronto, a\u00fan conservaba la esperanza y a\u00fan <em>se atrevi\u00f3 a so\u00f1ar.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tras emigrar a Estados Unidos y reunirse con su familia dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, Max creci\u00f3 en un apartamento de 65 metros cuadrados en Nueva York con sus cuatro hermanos. Algunos d\u00edas, no hab\u00eda suficiente comida para una comida completa. Sus padres trabajaban arduamente para mantenerlos, y su madre recurri\u00f3 a la iglesia en busca de ayuda para conseguir comida y regalos de Navidad para sus hijos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La experiencia lo marc\u00f3 profundamente. Poco despu\u00e9s de un viaje a la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, al ver la pobreza que a\u00fan persiste, Max, su hermano Antonio y su amigo BJ decidieron que pod\u00edan hacer m\u00e1s, no solo en Jacksonville, sino en todo el mundo. As\u00ed naci\u00f3 Reaching the Unreached, fruto de un sue\u00f1o sencillo: llevar alimentos, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, educaci\u00f3n y, en definitiva, esperanza a las comunidades necesitadas. Max recuerda lo que se siente al pasar necesidades: \u201cLos ni\u00f1os no eligen las circunstancias en las que nacen. El equipo entabla relaciones, escucha y trabaja codo a codo con las personas que conoce para ayudar a las familias a encontrar una soluci\u00f3n. A veces, eso significa algo tan sencillo y significativo como asegurarse de que un ni\u00f1o pueda disfrutar de la Navidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El a\u00f1o pasado, Reaching the Unreached ayud\u00f3 a brindar una Navidad a m\u00e1s de 800 ni\u00f1os y a alimentar a m\u00e1s de 200 familias.
